The Village at Leesburg is getting a wild new candy store that is sure to be a hit with the young and young at heart. Rocket Fizz Soda Pop & Candy Shop will open soon in a storefront near the Village Plaza at the center of the shopping center.
Rocket Fizz is a California based chain of candy stores that specializes in unique sweets, including many retro candies popular in the past. It also sells novelty and “gag” gifts.
But Rocket Fizz may be best known for its wide range of “interesting” soda pops. There are super sweet flavors such as Limeade, Havana Banana and Red Licorice and there are also bizarre flavors such as Bacon Soda with Chocolate, Buffalo Wing Soda, Martian Poop Soda and something called Radioactive Soda.
There are currently more than 70 Rocket Fizz locations around the country and dozens more in the works.
