A new Tex-Mex restaurant is preparing to open in the space vacated by the popular El Sol Azteca restaurant in the Goose Creek Village shopping center.
Parrando’s Tex-Mex Grill should be opening in early December. Renovations to the space are underway.
Ashburn residents were shocked in July, when the owner of El Sol Azteca was sentenced to 14 months in prison for sexual abuse of a child. The restaurant closed immediately. Now we know more about what happened.
According to information from the owners of Goose Creek Village, they are the ones who closed the restaurant and terminated the lease after the criminal offenses became known.
