Using high end chocolates, sugars, butters and other ingredients, the couple design the most amazing cakes that are fully edible. The couple has shot two episodes of cake-themed TV show for a national television network which will air sometime this coming spring. While it’s all top secret, we can tell you that at least one of their cakes features something you’ve never seen on a cake before. Stay tuned to The Burn — we’ll let you know when the airdates are announced.

At Stacked, aspiring cake designers can also learn the tricks of the trade in classes held on-site. Mariano says they’re one of the only high-end cake schools on the East coast, and Stacked has both teachers and students fly in from around the country.

The business originally opened in 2014, but just moved into an Ashburn storefront off of Waxpool in August. This Saturday (Dec. 10) and next Saturday (Dec. 17), the shop will be holding open houses from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learn about their cakes and classes and enjoy music, cider and free samples.
