The Art Station, a nearly four-year old paint & sip studio at the Village at Leesburg, will be closing its doors permanently in March.

The Art Station, a nearly four-year old paint & sip studio at the Village at Leesburg, will be closing its doors permanently on March 26. While this news is already widely known among regular customers, many are still expressing shock on social media.

The Art Station offers art & craft classes of all kinds — canvas paintings, candle making, stemware painting and more. There were classes for kids, classes for adults paired with wine (ergo, “paint & sip”) and the store hosted children’s birthday parties as well.

According to staff, the store is closing because it simply wasn’t making enough money compared to the rising costs related to operating the business. A tale as old as time.

Until March 26, classes continue to be offered and The Art Station is encouraging customers to come in one last time for a dash of creativity.
