Goose Creek Village Center, the shopping plaza at the intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and Sycolin Road, will be expanding yet again. Reps say construction should start soon on a new building on the parcel of land in between Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar and Passion Fin Sushi Bar.
The new building will be roughly 10,000 square feet. About 4,000 s.f. of that space will go to a new animal hospital opening there. We’re told a veterinary doctor from D.C. is relocating his practice to Loudoun and to the Goose Creek space. The other 6,000 s.f. will be new retail space — meaning it will be divided up into various storefronts and leased to new businesses. No word yet on what new stores we might see there.
Look for construction crews to break ground soon, and hopefully, with it will come more details about the new development.
