BOWLERO OPENS IN VILLAGE AT LEESBURG

The new bowling and entertainment center takes over the former King Pinz spot.

Bowlero, the new bowling and entertainment center at the Village of Leesburg, opened for business today. The center, part of a national chain of bowling alleys, has taken over the space formerly occupied by King Pinz.

The space has gotten a make-over from a decor standpoint, but the layout at Bowlero is similar to its previous incarnation — with 12 high-tech lanes on the main floor and six more upstairs, plus a large bar with a seating area and a large area with video games and skill games. Gone is the cigar bar.

Other new features include blacklight lanes and an eclectic menu that includes a five-pound cheeseburger meant for sharing.

Two things I do not like sharing are my bowling shoes and my burger with extra pickles. Bring it on 5 pounds of hospital bills!
