NEW GREEK RESTAURANT OPENING TWO LOUDOUN LOCATIONS

The fast-casual Greek restaurant SouvlakiBar is opening locations in Sterling and Leesburg.

Eastern Loudoun County, get ready to Go Greek! Because the SouvlakiBar is planning on opening two local locations — perhaps as soon as later this year.

The SouvlakiBar opened its first location in Alexandria about a year ago. Now they have announced plans to open locations in both Sterling and Leesburg. The Sterling location will be in the new Shoppes at Potomac Corner center that is under construction right on Route 7 near the Cascades Overlook and Potomac Run shopping centers. The Leesburg location will be in the Shoppes at Kings Corner, at the intersection of South King Street and Catoctin Circle SW, right across the street from Roy Rogers.

SouvlakiBar is a fast-casual Greek restaurant similar in style to a Cava or Chipotle. You order at a counter, customizing your order the way you like it and then find a seat. The menu specializes in souvlaki (grilled meat skewers) and gyros (slowly roasted meat), but also features many other interesting Greek and Greek-inspired items. Check it out here.

Both the Sterling and Leesburg locations are aiming to be open by the end of the year. The Burn will keep you posted.
