Is Ashburn ready for Indian-style pizza pies? Because that’s what’s on the unique menu at Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist, a California-based chain that appears to be opening its first east coast location in the heart of Ashburn.
According to permits issued by the county and posts on social media, Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist & Sports Bar will be moving into the space formerly occupied by TaQue Mexican BBQ. The spot is in a small strip of stores across the street from the Carolina Brothers Pit Barbecue restaurant.
Currently, the brand appears to have roughly 25 locations open or under construction — all in California. It says it will open locations in Virginia, Indiana, Nevada, New Jersey and New York in 2018. Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist bills itself as “Home of the Authentic Indian Pizza.” Indeed, the menu is filled with pizzas such as the Curry Chicken, the Palak Paneer, the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Chicken Tikka Masala.
FYI, traditional Chicago pizza is a delicious deep dish variety. However, this brand’s pizzas do not appear to be deep dish. Just to clarify.

They actually do have deep dish! I went in the other day, it’s actually really good I would recommend you to go try it out!
to actually clarify, they have both hand tossed and deep dish pizzas.
They actually do have deep dish! I went in and they give you the choice of a regular or deep dish pizza! I would highly recommend this place the concept is very unique.
