The Loudoun-based truck’s menu includes Korean tacos with a variety of fun flavors.

There is a wave of new Loudoun-based food trucks hitting the streets, and they are starting to generate a lot of buzz. One of the buzziest is Kovi Kitchen, serving up Asian street food. Its menu is a creative fusion of Korean and Vietnamese flavors. It’s the brainchild of local chef Vi Nguyen.

Currently, the menu focuses on Korean style tacos featuring such proteins as Slow Roasted Pork and Lemongrass Chicken. They also often have Bahn Mi sandwiches and rice bowls as well. You can click here to see their website and full planned menu, although not all these items are yet available on the truck.

Like most Loudoun-based food trucks, Kovi Kitchen is splitting its time among various locations, including NoVa lunch hot spots during the week and Loudoun wineries and special events on the weekends. You can follow them on social media to find out there latest stops. Long term, Nguyen and his colleagues hope to have a brick-and-mortar location as well.
