Well this is different.
Year around, indoor skiing — that’s what’s being offered in Leesburg thanks to an interesting new business. It’s called the Inside Ski Training Center and you’ll find it inside the Pro-Fit Ski & Mountain Sports on Catoctin Circle.
The new facility consists of a giant, sloped conveyor belt that allows people to “ski down” it and practice their skills. It works for snowboards too. The facility is offering lessons and sessions for kids and adults, both private and group.
There will be a ribbon cutting next monday, Oct. 30 and the Inside Ski Training Center officially opens on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Just in time for winter!
