Preliminary construction work has begun in Loudoun on two sites that are future homes of new Sheetz convenience stores and gas stations. One in Sterling and one in Leesburg.
As previously reported on The Burn, a Sheetz station has long been planned for the Nokes Plaza development off Nokes Boulevard near the Dulles Town Center mall. Site work for the new gas station has started at the intersection of Nokes and Windmill Parc Drive, next to the retail center with Burger 21 and Cafesano.
Meanwhile, we recently told you about the new center going up at Battlefield Parkway and Fort Evans Road NE in Leesburg. It’s a new section of the Marketplace at Potomac Station and we’ve been told the gas station going on that corner is also going to be a Sheetz. Site work is underway there too.
