It appears Bello Pranzo Pizza & Pasta has closed at the Village at Leesburg after two years in operation. The restaurant’s phone number is disconnected, it’s website is down, it’s Google business listing says it’s “permanently closed” and the space is listed as available to rent on the Village at Leesburg leasing website.
The New York style pizzeria and bar sat just a few doors away from the Cobb Theater on a corner with a patio. It’s menu included hand-tossed pizzas, a variety of pasta dishes as well as burgers, fries and wings. There was an original Bello Pranzo Pizza & Pasta location in Albany NY as well, but that location has also closed.
Village at Leesburg continues to make slow but steady progress on filling its many vacant storefronts. The good news — several new dining establishments are supposedly going to be opening soon, including The Conche, Fractured Prune Doughnuts and Shanghai Station Dumpling & Noodle Bar.
