NEW “BOWLERO” BOWLING CENTER COMING TO VILLAGE AT LEESBURG

King Pinz will close Tuesday to make way for the new brand.

Big changes coming to one of the Ashburn area’s main bowling centers. A brand of upscale bowling alleys named Bowlero will be taking over and making over the King Pinz location at the Village at Leesburg. According to center officials, King Pinz last day is tomorrow, March 14.

When the new Bowlero opens, it will offer a familiar experience — with bowling, arcade games, a full menu and bar, etc. It will cater to both kids’ parties and grown-up events too. But where King Pinz was just a single location, Bowlero is part of a massive bowling empire owned by the Bowlmor AMF company. Bowlmor AMF is the largest operator of bowling alleys in the U.S. Among its brands is Bowlero, with 28 locations around the country. A Bowlero will also be opening in Centreville this spring.

Right now, there’s no firm date as to when the Bowlero will open, but they are targeting sometime this summer. The new owners need to come in and renovate the space. Among the changes, the current High Rollers cigar bar will be going away. And we’re told the menu will feature more unique items sure to please Ashburn area foodies. (Here’s a link to the menu for the upcoming Centreville location, to give you an idea of what we can expect.)
