CHIPOTLE IN STERLING SHUTS DOWN AFTER CUSTOMERS FALL SICK

At least 13 customers reportedly became sick after eating at the restaurant last Friday or Saturday.

(UPDATE:  As of Wednesday, July 19, this Chipotle location had reopened for business.)

There is a breaking national news story coming out of Sterling, where the local Chipotle restaurant has been temporarily closed after reports of customers falling sick. It’s the location on Tripleseven Road, just off Route 7, near the Applebees and Regal Countryside movie theater.

Reported symptoms included diarrhea, stomach pain, dehydration, nausea and vomiting. Unconfirmed reports say two people were hospitalized. The restaurant is being sterilized while it is closed.
