Few recent restaurant openings in Leesburg have created as much buzz as Bites Wine & Grilled Cheese Bar. There’s something about the combination of gooey grilled cheeses, a sangria bar, and local wines and beers that captures the imagination. Now, cheese lovers (the fancy words is “turophiles”) will have their day when Bites opens for business this Friday, Sept. 22.
Of course, The Burn brought you your first look inside the restaurant (see story here) and now we’ve got the first image of a Bites grilled cheese and other dishes. Up top, that’s a truffle grilled cheese. Bites will also have cheese boards and salads on the menu.
Local restauranteur Damian Dajcz, who owns the two Señor Ramon Taqueria locations — one in Leesburg and one in Sterling — is the mastermind behind Bites. The restaurant is opening at 105 South King Street, in a space that was formerly an antiques store called The Cottage.
