There’s been quite a bit of restaurant action lately in the Ashburn Village Shopping Center, what with the recent opening of Squisito Pizza & Pasta and El Rey Tolteca Mexican restaurant coming soon. Now, we’ve learned that another new restaurant has quietly opened in the center.
Indian Taverna is a new Indian restaurant that has taken over the spot previously occupied by Banjara Indian Cuisine. The new restaurant has a large, dramatic sign out front and a menu chock full of delicious sounding dishes. Besides the usual Indian menu items, Indian Taverna also offers some interesting Indo-Chinese fusion dishes. Check out their full menu here.
Indian Taverna bills itself as a bit more upscale than your usual mom-and-pop Indian places and claims to have the best Indian food in the area. Considering the competition in this area, that’s a mighty big boast.
