JOHNNY ROCKETS AT BRAMBLETON CLOSES

Their last day was apparently Wednesday.

Well, we were off by a day.

Back in October, The Burn reported that the Johnny Rockets location in the Brambleton Town Center was preparing to close. The date we’d been told was by Dec. 1 at the latest. We got some pushback to our report, but today we’ve learned that employees were told yesterday the restaurant was closing and it was their last day. We confirmed they closed permanently as of today (Nov. 30). Never question The Burn.

The Johnny Rockets space is currently available for lease. No word what’s going to go in there. We have heard the Bicycle Outfitters location in the BTC may be moving to a new location in the center, but we haven’t got any details on that yet.

While the Johnny Rockets closure reduces the restaurant population at the center by one, the new upscale Ah-So Restaurant is preparing to open soon just a few doors down from Rockets. Stay tuned!

One Loudoun is better. Change the name to Brambleton Plaza. You guys are giving all the town centers a bad rep and a bad name.

I agree.. One Loudoun is so much better than Brambleton “Town Center”

Brambleton Town Center should be renamed to the “shops at Brambleton”
its a joke of a town center

Hard to believe restaurants struggle so much in BTC with the population around Brambleton. There really are not many options down the Route 50 corridor that would draw people and of course One Loudoun is doing very well with tons of choices, but getting to and from One Loudoun from Brambleton on a weeknight can be a nightmare. The center had so much potential especially had B&N opened there as originally planned, but now it’s become a joke.

Frist, the better majority of the restaurants that have opened in BTC have stayed in business. Second, when JR’s opened their only local burger competition was Five Guys. Today the local area is a burger mecca.

If it wasn’t for the ABC store at BTC, there would be no reason to stop by weekly…..
