For nearly 10 years, California Tortilla has faithfully served up burritos, chips and a wall full of hot sauces from its spot in the Dulles 28 Centre (by Target and Wegmans). But no more. Yesterday was apparently the restaurant’s last day operating at that location.
A sign posted on the register said that the 23rd was their last day and encouraged customers to try other Cali Tortilla locations in the area. The Burn placed a call to the restaurant shortly before closing time and an employee confirmed that the Dulles location was closing permanently.
The Maryland-based chain once had a heavy presence in the Ashburn area. But in recent years, a locations in Lansdowne and Ashburn Village both closed. And now the Dulles store. Last we checked, there is still a California Tortilla in Brambleton and one in Leesburg as well.
