We don’t normally venture much outside of Loudoun County, but we thought it worth mentioning that the new Founding Farmers location in Reston has announced their opening date. This destination restaurant at the Reston Station development right off of the Dulles Toll Road (267) will open April 11.
Founding Farmers got its start back in 2005 when a union made up of American farmers decided to start a restaurant in Washington DC that would showcase their products. Today, the brand has become extremely popular and has locations in DC, Tysons, Potomac Md., King of Prussia Penn. and soon Reston.
Founding Farmers is still owned by farmers and many (if not most) of the dishes served at the restaurant feature foods directly from farms across the country. The extensive menus include breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as their famous weekend brunch, plus custom cocktails made with liquors from Founding Farmers distilleries.
The new Reston location started taking online reservations today.

Man, I wish they would open one of these in One Loudoun… it would be the perfect spot for it.
