NEW GOURMET BURGER RESTAURANT IN DOWNTOWN LEESBURG

19 West sits adjacent to the Tally Ho Theater.

A new gourmet burger restaurant has opened in downtown “Cheeseburg” (their joke, not ours), serving unique freshly ground burgers, hand cut French fries and from-scratch dipping sauces. It’s called 19 West Gourmet Burgers, named for its address at 19 West Market Street next to the Tally Ho Theater.

The menu features traditional fresh ground beef burgers, as well as a patty made up of equal parts beef and applewood smoked bacon. There’s also an organic turkey burger available as well. A long list of toppings includes cheeses, fried egg, sautéed mushrooms and fresh avocado.

19 West also hopes to make a name for itself with its custom French fry dipping sauces, including Wisconsin Beer Cheese, Sriracha Mayo, Avocado Chimichurri and Buttermilk Herb.

The restaurant is the brainchild of the Taliaferro family, longtime residents of Loudoun County. They reportedly hope to open additional locations in the future.

My pleasure. I got the Oink burger which is a blend of beef and ground bacon. I very much enjoyed it and the fries. The lemon garlic aioli and cheddar beer cheese dipping sauces were my favorite. He gave me a taste of the caesar ranch (I think it was called that) and I really loved that one too, as the owner told me he uses for their Caesar burger which I plan on getting on my next visit. It is a bit pricey though, so be prepared for that part.

Took the family here on a Saturday afternoon, had a great experience. Really tasty burgers, the kids loved their bacon cheeseburgers and Oink burger was a really flavorful option. Fries were great and the various sauce options were all really good, we’ll definitely be back a great new option in Leesburg.
