ASHBURN’S ZINGA FROZEN YOGURT SHOP GETTING NEW NAME

The frozen yogurt served in the shop is changing as well.

Earth-shaking news for frozen yogurt fans in Ashburn. The popular Zinga froyo shop in the Ashburn Farm Market Center (corner of Claiborne Parkway and Ashburn Farm Parkway) has new owners and will soon be changing its name. The yogurt is changing too.

According to employees, the new owner has several Yobe Frozen Yogurt locations in Florida. He purchased four Zinga locations in Virginia and is changing them all to the Yobe brand.

Work at the store is already underway. They have already started using the new Yobe frozen yogurt in the dispenser machines. Renovations are being done at night so the store can stay open, but customers will slowly see decor and fixtures change over the next week or so. A new Yobe sign will be installed above the door out front.

I’m happy that the FroYo fad is almost over and we can get back to real ice cream stores!

We will not be going back….we do not like the new froyo. Ugh. Zinga was good while it lasted!

Zinga was great the first few years it was open, Nice new concept. Now it sits empty most days/evenings. Too many other choices.
