Ashburn fans of B Doughnut gourmet doughnuts who don’t like the trek to Leesburg are in luck. The brand is opening a new location in One Loudoun.
As The Burn first told you back in July, two “pop up kiosks” in converted shipping containers are being installed on the empty plot of land next to Uncle Julio’s. The idea behind them is to host smaller local businesses versus big chains. The first one was lowered into place today.
And B Doughnut fits that “local” bill. With a primary location in downtown Leesburg, and outlets at several other locations around greater DC, the new kiosk location at One Loudoun seems makes sense.
B Doughnut opened in Virginia in 2016. It’s menu is made up of doughnuts, malasadas (a Portuguese style of doughnut), their famous Everything Bagel Donut and other treats.
The target is to have the new spot in Ashburn open by the end of September.

Last I heard, they still hadn’t locked in a second tenant. Perhaps that has changed, or perhaps they are using it to store stuff temporarily.
