Just a quick update for folks who like to track these things — the signage has gone up at the eagerly anticipated Slapfish restaurant at One Loudoun.
That being said it looks like they still have a ways to go before opening. The interior of the store is still cement floors and unfinished walls. We checked the brand’s website and there’s no opening date announced yet.
Slapdash is a fast-growing, California-based seafood chain — it calls itself “a modern seafood shack.” The fast-casual menu is filled with dishes such as fish tacos, lobster taquitos, shrimp rolls and chowder fries.
The closest Slapfish to LoCo currently is in Rockville, Maryland. Locations are in the works for Ballston and DC as well.
