One of the big events of the season — the annual Tree Lighting Festival at the Village of Leesburg — takes place this Saturday. The fun goes from 4 until 7 p.m.
Santa Claus will arrive by horse-drawn carriage to light the Spectacular Musical Tree. This 5-story tall tree with a snowfall topper and more than 15,000 sparkling lights performs daily music and light shows.
Other free festivities include carriage rides, a capella musical performances, holiday characters, visits with Santa, a gingerbread house craft station, glow-in-the-dark activities and more.
Most importantly, there will be a toy collection station where guests can donate a toy that will be distributed to children in need by Loudoun Toys for Tots.
This is always such a fun event for the entire family!
