A car plowed through the front window of an Ashburn business late Thursday morning. It happened at Ashburn Cigar & Vapes in the Ashburn Village Shopping Center, off Gloucester Parkway just before 11 a.m.
Here is the official information from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office: “A driver inadvertently pushed on the gas pedal and her vehicle traveled into the storefront of Ashburn Cigar and Vapes. The driver was charged with ‘reckless driving — parking lot.’ Neither the driver nor an employee inside were injured as a result of the crash. The damage to the building is estimated at approximately $10,000.”

This happened at my fitness studio last January. Hopefully nobody was hurt. Thanks for always keeping us in the know in Ashburn! 🙂
No one was hurt thankfully.
As a cardio pulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation trained and certified volunteer I responded on my bicycle since I live nearby. Luckily there were no injuries that I observed. It was quite an interesting scene though.
