Construction is underway and a big temporary sign is up at the Potomac Run Plaza touting the impending arrival of the new Sierra Trading Post store. It’s the third store from the parent company of TJ Maxx to come to the Sterling shopping center. The other two — HomeGoods and Homesense — both opened in recent months.
The Burn first broke the news about Sierra Trading Post back in February.
For anyone unfamiliar, Sierra Trading Post is store that combines outdoor gear and sporting goods with home decor, small appliances and even pet supplies. Imagine if Dick’s and HomeGoods had a kid.
The Burn checked with the corporate HQ about a target opening date for the Sierra Trading Post, but they declined to release any information about the new Sterling location at this time.
