The old Hail & Hog space at One Loudoun is sporting some new window decorations — signs announcing the impending arrival of City Tap. The Burn broke the news about City Tap back in October. (See our story here.) But the arrival of the signage has sparked a new round of buzz and anticipation.
City Tap Kitchen & Craft has two locations in DC, two in Philly, plus one each in Boston, Nashville, Atlanta and Chicago. Ashburn will be location No. 9.
The upscale gastropub features a menu filled with hearty dishes like burgers, pizzas, mussels, shrimp & grits as well as more unique chef-inspired offerings. There are also dozens and dozens of beers available either on tap or in bottles. Check out the menu of the Penn Quarter location here.
Still no word on when City Tap will open at One Loudoun, but the signage shows things are starting to move forward.
