A new cafe is coming to the Cascades Overlook center in Sterling, near Route 7 and Bartholomew Fair Drive. It will be called Meows Corner and it will feature comfy seating, beverages, books and cats.
Yes, cats.
It’s called a “cat cafe” and it’s all the rage for cat lovers in some cities around the US. It’s basically like a coffeeshop with cats lounging all over the place. Customers pay a fee to relax and play with cats to their heart’s content. They can also sit back and read a book or get some work done.
There will also be cat themed products for sale at Meows Corner, which will be taking a spot across from the center’s central plaza.

The resident cats will be coming from 4Paws Rescue, a cat rescue non-profit in Fairfax. All the cats at Meows Corner will be available for adoption as part of a partnership between the cafe and the rescue organization.
Meows Corner hopes to open sometime in June.

This will be a welcomed addition to our shopping experience!
Huh? SMH
Looking forward to it!
I agree, it’s a purrfect addition! I’m so excited the cat café concept is making it’s way to Loudoun. Can’t wait!
