Ashburn Magazine Launches this Week

The new publication celebrates life in Ashburn.

ashburn magazine 2019

Big news for residents in Ashburn —  our fair community is getting its own lifestyle magazine full of stories and features about local people, places, businesses and issues. It’s aptly titled Ashburn Magazine and should start appearing in mailboxes around Ashburn later this week.

The first issue includes an in-depth look at two major new parks coming to the Ashburn area; a fun, different kind of profile of hometown football star Trace McSorley; a feature about a talented local chalk artist whose work appears around Ashburn and Loudoun County; and a look at the businessman behind the iconic Ashburn Pub. All that plus a whole lot more.

The magazine is being sent to 13,000 homes in the 20147 and 20148 zip codes. You’ll also be able to find Ashburn Magazine at more than a hundred area businesses. If folks in other nearby communities are interested, there is also a subscription option.

Ashburn Magazine is a publication of Rappahannock Media, which publishes five other magazines as well as five weekly newspapers around Northern Virginia. They also operate InsideNova.com, a major news website covering the region. Bruce Potter is the creator and publisher of Ashburn Magazine. He is an Ashburn resident as well.

The Burn has partnered with Ashburn Magazine to share select content and promotions. Not coincidentally, the editor of The Burn is also the editor of the new magazine — hey, that’s me!

Finally, if you enjoy Ashburn Magazine (and we’re sure you will), we would encourage you to patronize the many businesses that boldly decided to advertise in a brand new publication.  When you talk to them, tell them “thank you” for helping bring Ashburn Magazine to our community.
