New Señor Ramon Taqueria Opening Friday

The new restaurant and two other shops have opened in the heart of Leesburg.

According to an announcement on social media, the new location for the Señor Ramon Taqueria in downtown Leesburg should open tomorrow (Friday, June 7) at 11 a.m.

The popular restaurant is moving just a block or so away to its new digs. It’s taken over one of the units created when the Leesburg Antique Emporium closed at the corner of Loudoun Street and South King Street. The space has been completely made over.

The new Señor Ramon’s features both upstairs and downstairs seating, whimsical decorations and lots of bright colors. The menu is filled with every combination of taco you can imagine — chicken, carne asada, steak, chorizo, shrimp, tongue, tripe and vegetarian options too. (See the full menu here.)

Besides the Leesburg location, there are also Señor Ramon restaurants in Sterling and Chantilly and one in the works for Reston.

Meanwhile, if you wondered what they have used the rest of the former antique emporium for — there are a couple of cute new shops there. Sunflower Shack sells old fashioned candy and sodas and all types of novelties, crafts and gifts.

Next door, a new store called Brick and Mortar is hard to define, but it carries all types of great gift ideas — from leather bags to home decor and more.
