The latest issue of the awesome Ashburn Magazine arrives this week and it’s chock full of interesting stories about Ashburn people, places and things.
The cover story introduces you to many of our local neighbors who have found fame appearing on reality TV shows such as “Survivor,” “American Idol, “House Hunters,” “Chopped” and more.
Other features include a photo story on Ashburn’s Great Blue Heron population, a local teen golf prodigy, one of the last drive-in movie theaters in the area, luxury home pizza ovens, and the 50th anniversary of Broad Run High School.
Ashburn Magazine can be found many ways. It’s delivered to some 13,000 homes in the mail. It’s available at more than 100 local stores and businesses, including the Ashburn Giant grocery stores.

How does someone get on the mailing list? I’ve lived in Ashburn for several years and I’d love to get a copy at home.
Hi Michael. The magazine’s mail distribution has to do with postal routes, densities, costs, etc. It’s handled by the company’s distribution department. I do know that Ashburn Magazine only gets delivered to roughly 50 percent of the routes in Ashburn. But to make sure everyone can get it, an additional 3,000 or so copies are placed at businesses around Ashburn so they are easy to find. Personally, I think the Giant stores are the simplest, since I see them there all the time, but they are at many other stores and businesses too.
