Pit Stop Express Opens at One Loudoun

The new kiosk is the third location for the local brand.

The new Pit Stop barbecue stand at One Loudoun opened for business this weekend. This is now the third location for the popular Loudoun-based brand.

The new stand is in the “Four Corners” spot at One Loudoun, across from Matchbox and behind Uncle Julio’s. There are two converted shipping containers there and a variety of different businesses have called them home.

The Pit Stop has taken over the unit where B Doughnut was previously, and they share the patio with Fantasticks, a gelato bar shop.

The new barbecue spot is an off-shoot of Pit Stop’s main brick-and-mortar location over at Cascades Marketplace. Pit Stop also serves barbecue from its original roadside stand in Aldie.

It sounds like The Pit Stop at One Loudoun has a flexible schedule — they serve at the lunch hour until they sell out, then come back in the evening with more smoked meat goodness and sell until its all gone again.

We also hear some additional construction may be going on around the unit, so follow The Pit Stop on social media to be up-to-date on when they’re serving.

Stopped by a few weeks ago. Delicious pulled pork with a healthy (or unhealthy) portion. Mac and chees and baked beans. Made for a bbq lover’s heaven. AND I can walk there! Please don’t ever leave me like everything in Ashburn eventually does.
