B Doughnut, the gourmet doughnut shop on Loudoun Street SW in downtown Leesburg, is closing up shop. The brand has announced its last day at the location will be August 25.
The plan calls for B Doughnut to move to a delivery concept, where customers order fresh doughnuts and have them delivered to their home or office. To start, it will be available in parts of Loudoun and Fairfax counties.
The announcement was made on the B Doughnut website and via social media.
B Doughnut recently gave up its other Loudoun County location when they vacated the “Four Corners” shipping container kiosk at One Loudoun. That space has been taken over by The Pit Stop Express.
Tried several from their Loudoun pop-up: not impressed for the price.
This makes zero sense.
I guess people got tired of $3+ mediocre donuts….
This is not smart. They will continue to fail.
I had B Donuts several times and each time I wondered why they were popular. They are pretty average and they cost way too much.
B Doughnut is now B Gone. Way overpriced donuts ($3-$4) that didn’t taste any better than DD.
Can’t run business on trendy people buying your product for the long term.
