The first Zaxby’s restaurant in the metro DC area — right here in Loudoun County — is in the final stages of getting ready to open. The team at the new store in the Shoppes at East Gate off Route 50 is waiting on its final inspections. That’s in the South Riding/Chantilly area.
The Burn got to step inside today and snap a few sneak peek photographs — and we can tell you — the space looks great. The decor is highlighted by whimsical illuminated signs throughout the store.
Originally, we had reported that the restaurant was shooting for an August 26 opening date. That information came directly from Zaxby’s official marketing team, but it turns out they were a bit out over their skis.
The store’s owner tells The Burn they are targeting a mid-September opening, barring anything unforeseen.
