New Cuban restaurant officially opens Saturday

Cubasí Bistro is opening in the Dulles 28 Centre shopping center.

Cubasí Bistro — the new Cuban fast-casual restaurant on the border between Ashburn and Sterling — will officially open for business tomorrow, Saturday Oct. 5. It’s the first Cuban restaurant in Loudoun to serve traditional Cuban dishes like roast pork, vaca frita, tostones, fried yuca and more.

The Burn got a sneak preview of Cubasí Bistro last week. You can see our story and photos here. Now, the restaurant has passed its final inspections and is ready for business.

The restaurant is located in the Dulles 28 Centre shopping center at the intersection of Pacific Boulevard and Waxpool Road. That’s the same shopping center near SR28 with the Wegmans, the Target, the DSW and the Buffalo Wild Wings. Cubasí Bistro is located at the far end of the center, near the Residence Inn hotel.

This is a true mom-and-pop business. Mom and dad, grandpa and grandma will likely be there working and cooking. While Saturday is the official opening, a little bird told us they may quietly open their doors to passers-by today, in case you’re interested.
