Ashburn’s newest Lidl discount grocery store has announced that it will hold its grand opening on Wednesday, November 20. The Lidl is an anchor store at the new Ashbrook Marketplace shopping center. That’s at the corner of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Russell Branch Parkway.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony around 7:40 a.m. on November 20, followed by the store opening at 8 a.m. The first 100 customers in line will get a free Lidl gift card. There will also be free shopping bags, free food samples and other prize giveaways.
This is the second Lidl location in Ashburn. The first one opened in the Broadlands in March 2018.
Lidl (rhymes with “needle”) is a German supermarket brand with more than 10,000 stores in 32 countries. They entered the US market in 2015 and now have more than 70 stores up and down the east coast.
