The new CVS store and pharmacy in Brambleton is scheduled to open this weekend. That’s per a sign posted on the front door, which says Sunday, November 24 is the big day.
A peek through the windows shows the store is all set up, shelves are loaded with merchandise. When The Burn stopped by, work crews were installing light poles around the parking lot.
The store is located at the intersection of Northstar Boulevard and Shreveport Drive. It’s part of a new shopping plaza going up at the corner that will be known as — appropriately enough — Brambleton Corner Plaza.
The shopping center is also scheduled to have:
- a gas station and convenience store
- a fast-food restaurant with drive-thru
- an auto repair shop
- a 17,600 s.f. retail building for additional stores, restaurants or offices
Tenants for these spaces have not been announced yet, but with the CVS ready for action, construction crews have begun working on the site that will become the new retail building.
Brambleton Corner Plaza is also home to a Chesterbrook Academy preschool, which has been open for several years now.
Wow. A gas station in a gas desert.
