Sign is up at new Marco’s Pizza in Ashburn

The owners say they should be opening in the next few weeks.

The new Marco’s Pizza location in Ashburn is one major step closer to opening — the illuminated sign has gone up out front. (Yes, they know one Z isn’t lit up. They’re on it.)

Inside, the Marco’s team is busy installing equipment.

The Marco’s store is in the Broadlands Marketplace (better known as Southern Walk Plaza to locals) off Wynridge Drive.  It’s taking over the space vacated by Domino’s when it moved a mile or so away to a spot by the Shops at Moorefield Village, off Loudoun County Parkway.

The Burn first broke the news about the new store back in June.

Marco’s Pizza is a national chain with more than 900 locations around the country and overseas as well. It was founded in Ohio in 1978.

The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas as well as subs, salads, sides and more. (See the full menu here.) The Burn recently taste-tested a Marco’s pizza at their location in southern Loudoun County, off Route 50, and we can give it an enthusiastic thumbs up.

The Broadlands Marco’s will be carry out and delivery only. They are actively looking for team members for the new store. They should be opening in the next few weeks — their target is early to mid-December.
