Bonchon Chicken officially reopens at Village at Leesburg

It’s under new management after closing suddenly more than a year ago.

The Bonchon Korean chicken restaurant at the Village at Leesburg quietly reopened a few weeks ago, and now they are making it official with a grand opening on December 1.

It was back in August 2018 that a sign went up on the door saying the restaurant had closed due to unforeseen circumstances. (See our original story here.) While we don’t know what led to the closure, we do know that new management has come in and finally reopened the restaurant.

Bonchon specializes in Korean fried chicken. The company is based in South Korea and has more than 100 locations in the United States, including more than a dozen in the DC market. Locally, there is a Bonchon in Sterling and another in South Riding.
