Marco’s Pizza in Ashburn opens with a bang

The new restaurant is offering free pizzas Tuesday evening.

The new Marco’s Pizza restaurant in the Broadlands is officially opening for business Friday, December 20. But first they held a sneak preview evening — with a tantalizing free offer.

Between 5 and 7 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 19), Marco’s Pizza in the Southern Walk Plaza offered a free large, two-topping pizza to customers. First come, first serve; carry-out only; one pizza per customer; while supplies last. Orders had to be placed in person.

Starting Friday, it will be business as usual for the new restaurant and besides carry-out, delivery should also be available.

Marco’s Pizza was founded in Ohio back in 1978 and today there are more than 900 locations around the US and overseas.

The local franchisees own the location off Highway 50 near South Riding in southern Loudoun County. The Ashburn store is their second location.
