Banners up at future Bojangles

The restaurant is opening its first location in Northern Virginia here in Loudoun.

We don’t usually do stories when a new business hangs up a temporary banner out front. But then again, it’s not every day that your community gets the first Bojangles in Northern Virginia.

So here we go. Banners now grace the exterior of the future Bojangles site in Sterling. They went up over the weekend and fried chicken fans are rejoicing.

The fried chicken restaurant is going into the former Capitol One bank building in the Potomac Run Plaza shopping center. That’s at Cascades Parkway and Route 7. The building, which will be getting a major remodel, sits at the Bartholomew Fair Drive entrance to the center, across the street from the Sterling Costco store.

As loyal readers know, The Burn was the first media outlet to break the news that Bojangles was coming to Loudoun County. See our story from December. The reaction was so big it became the second most read story of 2019 on our news site.

Currently, Winchester and Fredericksburg are the closest Virginia locations for Bojangles. The new store in Sterling is aiming for a Fall 2020 opening. Fingers crossed.

Is Fredericksburg in NoVA? Because it already has Bojangles.
