Kirkland’s to close Leesburg store in March

The store carries home decor, furniture, gifts and other items.

Kirkland’s, a national home decor, furniture and gift store, has announced they are closing their Leesburg location. The store is located in the Battlefield Shopping Center off Edwards Ferry Road. It sits next door to the Big Lots store.

An employee confirmed the store will close in late March. Deep discounts have already started, and they should grow as the store moves closer to its final day.

The Burn first got wind of the imminent closure several months ago, but it wasn’t official until recently.

Kirkland’s was founded in 1966 and is based in Tennessee. There are more than 400 locations around the country. The only other Loudoun County location is in the Dulles Town Crossing shopping center. We’re told there are no plans to close that store.
