Upscale burger restaurant opens Monday at Reston Town Center

The new restaurant features gourmet burgers as well as sandwiches, salads, steak frites and more.

The Capital Burger, a new upscale gourmet hamburger restaurant, officially opens Monday, January 27, at the Reston Town Center. The restaurant is a sister restaurant of the popular Capital Grille steakhouse chain.

Per the name, the new restaurant, which has been doing practice runs for its staff this weekend, specializes in burgers. Its signature burger is The Capital Burger which features the brand’s custom blend ground beef patty topped with caramelized onions, Wisconsin Grand Cru gruyère, and a shallot aioli.

Other items on the menu include a lobster bisque, a southern-style fried chicken sandwich, a classic steak frites and much more. Check out the full menu for The Capital Burger here.

Unlike many of the fast-casual burger joints that have proliferated in recent years, The Capital Burger is a full-service, sit-down restaurant with a bar as well.

Reston is the second location for The Capital Burger brand. The original one is located on 7th Street NW in DC. The Reston Town Center is located roughly 15 minutes east of Ashburn between Exits 11 and 12 off State Route 267.
