New Ashburn Village Inn ready to roll this weekend

The neighborhood sports bar is opening the Ashbrook Commons plaza.

Just in time for the Super Bowl, the new Ashburn Village Inn Tap & Grill opens for business this weekend. And The Burn has your sneak peek inside.

The new restaurant and bar will be holding a soft opening starting tomorrow, Saturday, February 1. They open their doors at 11 a.m.

With a long bar, high top and low top tables and 20 televisions, the AVI (short for Ashburn Village Inn) feels like a neighborhood sports bar. As The Burn first reported last September, it’s gone into a spot in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center, where the Em Oi Vietnamese restaurant was located previously. Ashbrook Commons is near the intersection of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Route 7.

The menu at AVI is full of sports bar staples such as wings, soft pretzels, nachos, burgers, flatbread pizzas, steak sandwiches — the list goes on and on.

The Ashburn Village Inn is a second location for and sister restaurant to the South Riding Inn in South Riding.

The soft opening — which gives the bar a chance to make sure staff are ready and systems are working smoothly — will be followed up by a grand opening event in a few weeks.
