Exciting news for fans of the Dolce & Ciabatta Bakery Cafe, the European style bakery located on Catoctin Circle SW in Leesburg. They are getting ready to expand and open a second, larger location.
The Burn has learned the new location is planned for the Fort Evans Plaza shopping center on Fort Evans Road NE. That’s the same shopping center with the Buffalo Wild Wings, Walgreens and Bed, Bath & Beyond. The new Dolce & Ciabatta will reportedly be going into the end unit where Cici’s Pizza once resided.
The new 4,000+ s.f space will be larger than the current bakery and allow the Dolce team to expand both their offerings and feature a nice dining room.
No word yet on when construction will begin or when they hope to open. We’ve reached out to the owners of Dolce & Ciabatta for more information and will report back with updates.

i really hope they stay open later at this location, if i recall correctly their current location closes at 5 or 6 pm….it would be great to have an after dinner dessert place in town
