Patel Brothers, a new Indian supermarket, will open in Ashburn on February 21. That’s next Friday.
Patel Brothers is part of a national chain of markets specializing in foods and flavors from the Indian subcontinent. The company is based in the greater Chicago area and has more than 50 locations.
The new Ashburn store is found in the Ashburn Farm Village Center. That’s the shopping plaza with Buffalo Wing Factory near the intersection of Ashburn Road and Ashburn Farm Parkway.
The Patel Brothers has gone into roughly half the space that used to be home to Global Foods. The other half is under construction as a new fitness center called The Shop Gym, which specializes in bodybuilding and power lifting. (See our story on The Shop Gym here.)
