DC’s first Karma and Koenigsegg car dealership coming to Loudoun

The new luxury dealership will include a 42,000 s.f. facility off Route 7.

It’s confirmed. The first ever Karma Automotive and Koenigsegg Automotive dealership in the Washington DC market will be opening in Loudoun County. It’s coming to a parcel of land sandwiched between Route 7 and Russell Branch Parkway in Ashburn.

Last week, The Burn reported that the Aston Martin and Bentley dealership over in the Tysons area was moving its location to Ashburn. We also reported that documents filed with Loudoun County indicated that the new dealership would represent Karma and Koenigsegg as well.

Now, executives with Aston Martin of Washington DC have confirmed the news and shared these renderings of what the high-end new dealership will look like. It will include vehicles parked on the roof tops and visible to the thousands of passers-by on Route 7.

As most folks know, Aston Martin and Bentley are two luxury British automobile brands. Karma and Koenigsegg are less well known outside of high-performance car enthusiast circles. Karma is a California-based brand while Koenigsegg is a Swedish company.

All of these brands have price points starting in the six figures and some models — particularly Koenigsegg — can run into the seven figures.

Construction on the 42,000 s.f. dealership should start any time. The target is to hold a grand opening in the second or third quarter of 2021.

Karma is a very interesting brand of car! They specialize in electric vehicles. As an EV owner myself, I like seeing the direction the industry is taking, and while Karma has had some missteps, their cars are pure eye candy!
