Neon-style sign goes up at new Texas Roadhouse

The new steakhouse is targeting an April grand opening.

The neon-style sign has gone up on the front of the new Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Ashburn. Soon, the red, glowing letters will be shining out over Route 7 a few hundred feet away.

Regular readers know we like tracking when signs go up — that’s usually a good “sign” that things are getting close for a new restaurant or business. Indeed, The Burn reported last week that Texas Roadhouse is targeting an April grand opening — a little more than a month away.

The restaurant is one of the anchor tenants in the new Riverside Square shopping center that is under construction on the north side of Route 7, just east of Ashburn Village Boulevard.

Other tenants there will include a fitness center, a Black Hog barbecue restaurant and a Sheetz gas station and convenience store.

Looks pretty trashy. Would have fit nicely over near the Compass Creek WalMart.
