Saigon Outcast Eatery & Taproom unveils debut menu

Ashburn’s new Vietnamese restaurant and bar should open in March.

Major progress at the new Vietnamese restaurant and bar coming to Ashburn’s north side. The sign has gone up at Saigon Outcast Eatery & Taproom and the owners have given The Burn a sneak peek of their new menu.

Saigon Outcast is coming to the University Commerce Center off George Washington Boulevard. The casual restaurant will feature food service from a counter, a lounge like atmosphere and a large outdoor patio for the warmer months.

Saigon Outcast is the brain child of a trio of local businessmen. Jason Fisher is a prolific restauranteur from the Arlington/Alexandria area. Saigon Outcast will be his seventh establishment. He  is teaming up with entrepreneurs Anthony Catselides and Hoa Lai. Lai is the owner of Four Sisters Grill in Arlington. And yes, that means it’s related to the famous Four Sisters Vietnamese restaurant in Falls Church. (Another Lai brother owns the Four Sisters Snack Bar in Ashburn.)

Outcast will offer dozens of beers on tap plus wine, cider and even sake — all in a self-serve method. Customers will have a card or bracelet that allows them to load it with money and then serve themselves anything from a small sample to a large glass.
