Number of Loudoun coronavirus cases jumps in past 24 hours

There are now 43 cases in the county, an increase of 15 since the day before.

The number of coronavirus cases in Loudoun County shot up from Thursday to Friday, increasing by 15 new cases in just 24 hours. That word coming from the Virginia Department of Health.

As of Friday afternoon at 5 p.m., there were 43 coronavirus cases in Loudoun. The number on Thursday was only 28.

There are now 604 cases statewide and 14 people have died. One of those victims was Loudoun County school teacher Susan Rokus, who passed away Wednesday. (See our story here.)
